Hi, Peter.

Please provide us with working administrator credentials.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi, Peter.

Ajajajaj! Sure it not work. Menu is messed up... You have duplicated menu items related with JomSocial in the same menu you have language for items set as English and All... no, this is wrong approach.

1. Restore JomSocial toolbar menu items
2. Then for each language menu change menu items to menu aliases and connected to corresponding items in JomSocial toolbar menu.

JomSocial toolbar is used for internal JomSocial navigation. No it's broken because of menu misconfiguration...

Hi Miachal actually I did change the menu items before, like you have told me. I linked the German Toolbar direkctely to the Jomsosial component items. The English Menu Items I linked via alias to the German Menu Items.

I set the language's settings to "All" because otherwise it did not work correctly. I am not sure if I understand you ride know. Do I have to do it all again.?

P.S.
Or do you mean linking both languages German and English -only via Alias to the original JomSocial Component Items.?

Hi, Peter.

No, you probably misunderstood. Ok, back to basics then.

1. Restore default JomSocial toolbar
2. Don't assign ANY language to it items.
3. Change menu item names with language constants like I did for few of them
4. You need to have separated menus for language but you don't need to copy JomSocial toolbar structure if you don't display it as a separated menu.

I saw that you just use JomSocial menu. Then there is no need to create two different structures. I fixed your structure so please take a look how's done properly. Now search works without 404.

Hi Michal, It looks like you build up a great example for me. Thank you very much. It´s so kind of you t put really attention in my website. Yes You are right. I started all over again with a new toolbar. The problem for me was always to figure out way I do have to set up the language flags. The Hidden Menu I called it "Schattenmenue" had only one link in my version.

You build a fantastic example for me. I am so happy. I really believe you guys give me a fantastic support. With your help I will accomplish a great website - Thank You very much Michal.
