JomSocial Notifications Count

Hello All,

We need information about JomSocial notifications.
We have 3 different kinds of notifications in toolbar section.
1. Global Notifications
2. Friend Requests
3. Message Notifications

For displaying notification count we are calling getTotalNotifications() function. This function will call on page load.

Is there any possibility to load the JomSocial Notification count without page reload, means system should detect the notification updates and refresh notification count automatically if anybody send message or friend request without page reload like linkedin or facebook.

Your question is far beyond ordinary support. You'll need access to developers forum.
But to access it you'll need to upgrade your subscription to Developer: www.jomsocial.com/cart/cart/216

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
