Advance search on age doesn't display year's list

Hi,
Joomla : v3.2.3
JomSocial:v3.2.0.3
Socialize:v1.2.7
Login as user julien with pass as same as JSupport described below. Select "Amis" , "Recherche Avancée" choose field
Age click on calendar. Instead of having, like in the registration process 2 columns one for month, another one for years
we don't have any. So to select for example year 1960 we have to click many, many, many times.
We should get the same behaviour as in the registration process: select month/year through 2 columns.

Cheers,
L

Hi.

It seems to be a bug s I reported it to our developers.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi there.

Please extract those files here > \components\com_community\templates\default\search.advancesearch.php(this patch will be included into our next installation package)

And then check the issue once again, it should fix the problem. If not, please let us know and we'll look into this once again. Also please remember this fix works only for latest stable JomSocial version.

Hi,
just tested it.
Concerning the months column , it works fine.
Not for the years one, it displayed years only from 2004 to 2024, what's happen for people with birth date on 1980 ?
In fact you should take in account the custom profile BIRTHDATE's parameter where you set min range/max range in order to display the right range for the years.
Cheers,
L

Hi there.

Could you upgrade to our latest version of JomSocial which is JS 3.2.0.5, this bug should be fixed there. If it's still not fixed, then please let us know and we'll look into it.

Hi.

ALWAYS start with making safe copy. I noticed that the best way is to uinstall JomSocial and all plugins/modules and JomSocial related menu items/menus (your database will be safe). Then install new version of JomSocial.
