In the custom profile, field BIRTHDATE set to date instead of Age.
At the front-end when logged user do an Advance search on date the tooltip message is from COM_COMMUNITY_ADVSEARCH_AGE instead of COM_COMMUNITY_ADVSEARCH_DATE

can't get a screen capture as message appears only with mouse hover.
But it can be seen on the live site.
Just login as julien user with pass set same as JSupport described below.
Select Advance search from "Amis" menu then "Date de naissance" field. Hover link "Date"
Message displayed is "Recherche par âge" means search by age and it should be search by date

ehm... I dont know but I cant replicate this, also in my local the popup is not coming..beside that i cant see "Date de naissance" in your adv.search paramater

in mean time I've change "Date de naissance" by Age.
Issue still there when date is displayed, on the mouse hover you've got "Recherche par age" (search by age) should be search by date
if you click on date, then age is displayed and on the mouse hover you've got "Recherche par date (search by date) should be search by age. Seems there is an inversion between date/age.

well, the text in english should be like this "Change to Age Search" in date state or "Change to Date Search" in age state... not "search by age" or "Recherche par age" / "search by date" or " "Recherche par date"
