Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
the values of form from your dating search module is not same like our advance search form. please compare the URL after your click "search" button from your dating module and from jomsocial advance search page.
example for user search with male gender. jomsocial advance search URL:
/index.php?field0=FIELD_GENDER&condition0=equal&value0=COM_COMMUNITY_MALE&fieldType0=gender&operator=and&option=com_community&view=search&task=advancesearch&Itemid=120&key-list=0
Hi,
yes you're right the links between the modules are not the same. So what ?
I remind you that Dating search module is not my module. Did I miss something ? This module is provided by JomSocial.
So do you support it ? if so my concern is to get it running as expected.
I think you've got all the relevant information to reproduce the issue, even a video showing how to do it. So are you going to fix it or just to turn around saying "my module", I would say "your module" is not compatible with advance search ?
Cheers,
L
I made fixes for dating module.
/modules/mod_datingsearch/helper.php
line 19:
From
$options = array("male" => "COM_COMMUNITY_MALE", "female" => "COM_COMMUNITY_FEMALE");
To
$options = array("COM_COMMUNITY_MALE" => "COM_COMMUNITY_MALE", "COM_COMMUNITY_FEMALE" => "COM_COMMUNITY_FEMALE");
I made override for /components/com_community/templates/default/search.advancesearch.php at /templates/socialize/html/com_community/search.advancesearch.php
line 363:
From
if(searchHistory['datingsearch_agefrom'] && searchHistory['datingsearch_ageto'])
To
if(searchHistory['datingsearch_agefrom'] && searchHistory['datingsearch_ageto'] && searchHistory['fieldType'+this] == 'birthdate')
Hi,
there are some progress, almost fixed.
The last issue is concerning the country field. Without any value, it works.
If we set "France", result is based on "Belgique" instead of "France".
In fact whatever the country selected, results are based on the first one, "Belgique".
Is there a way, like in the registration process, to set "France" as the default value ? and make it working ?
Anyway it's great to have this feature almost running as expected. Thank you for your support.
Cheers,
L
Hi,
congratulations, now we've got the dating search module running as expected.
I will follow your advice about country default value.
I suppose changes you've made in the code will be integrated in next version isn't it (3.2.0.6 ?)
Thank you for your support,
Cheers,
L
