Hi,
Joomla : v3.2.3
JomSocial:v3.2.0.1
Socialize:v1.2.7
Login as user Julien same pass as JSupport(see below); Select dating module("Recherche rencontres")
at the bottom page, then select first field as "Male|Homme", click on "Recherche", result is wrong.
It displayed female AND male, instead of male only.See below the link in relation with,
coeursdebreizh.net/index.php?datingsearc...e0=gender&key-list=0

Do it again with "Female|Femme", it works fine. It displays only female, as expected. See below the link in relation with:
coeursdebreizh.net/index.php?datingsearc...e0=gender&key-list=0

Cheers,
L

Hi There,

your issue has been fixed. I can't explain to you about what code lines changes, because too many. (Files under /public_html)

1.please open your phpmyadmin and find table community_fields
2. edit the record with type = gender
3. changing the options value with:

COM_COMMUNITY_MALE
COM_COMMUNITY_FEMALE

so the gender value not FEMALE/MALE but like above. this mean for translation purpose.

Albert

Albertus,
we've done the changes in the DB. It's better. It works on the following:
1 - One criteria based on sex Male or Female: OK
2 - 2 criterias with first one on sex Male and second one based on age (50-60):
Doesn't work in fact the second criteria is not take in account, and the sex criteria is displayed with COM_COMMUNITY_MALE
see attached file in relation with. Smae issue if we change the sex criteria from Male to Female, age criteria is not take in account and the sex criteria is displayed with "female" instead of the translated term "Femme", see the second attached file.
3 - If we add a third criteria the city ("Vill") equal "brest" this criteria is neither takes in account, only the first one based on sex
see the result in the third attached file, on top of that you can see that "Age" is added each time before the value's criteria
4 - If we add a fourth criteria the zip code equal "29200" this criteria is neither takes in account, only the first one based on sex
see the result in the fourth attached file, on top of that you can see that "Age" is added each time before the value's criteria

Cheers,
L

Another remark.
Since this change in the DB, even the advance search module as this issue, I mean it takes only the first criteria in account
so if i search on sex, age, and whatever, the results will be based only on the sex one.

L

Chris,
I think you've got all the relevant information in order to reproduce this issue.
I've described the steps you need to go through, I've also provided the screen shots in relation with.
You've got backend & frontend access too. So what do you need ?
For us it's obvious that modules Dating search AND Advance search are not working as expected.
Neither with one criteria nor, it's even worst, with several.
These modules must work for our business.
It's obvious from a customer point of view that if these features don't work, why do they pay for ?
Cheers,
L

Hi,
What are you expecting ? we don't understand.
We don't want to be a beta tester.
We want a solution about our problem.
So do you need a another description on our issue in this forum or do we need to register as a beta tester to another forum ?

Hi,
Hereafter details:
Steps to reproduce it :
We have :
julien : male/45 years old/location:marseille
dan29200 : female/54 years old/location:brest
Admin : male/57 years old/location:brest
jomsocial :male/28 years old/location :kualalampur

Login as user's julien same password than JSupport described below.
Click on « Amis » then on the right side « Je recherche.... » with search criteria.
1 - One criteria based on sex Female: Pass found only dan29200
2 – Change criteria from Female to Male : Failed, found all the members
3 - 2 criterias with first one on sex Male and second one based on age (50-60): Failed, found all the members
In fact the second criteria is not take in account, and the sex criteria is displayed with Âge in front of the value which is also wrong. Instead of having « Homme » we have the english term:Male
Same issue if we change the sex criteria from Male to Female, age criteria is not take in account and the sex criteria is displayed with "female" instead of the translated term "Femme".
4 - If we add a third criteria the city ("Ville") equal "brest" : Failed, this criteria is neither takes in account, only the first one based on sex. "Age" is added each time before the value's criteria
5 - If we add a fourth criteria the zip code equal "29200" : Failed, this criteria is neither takes in account, only the first one based on sex. "Age" is added each time before the value's criteria

Expected results on the following tests :
1 – dan29200
2 – julien,Admin,jomsocial
3 – Admin
4 – Admin if Male selected or dan29200 if female selected
5 - Admin if Male selected or dan29200 if female selected

Hi There,

your search module at "Amis" not compatible with out advance search ( www.yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_co...ncesearch&Itemid=120 )

please compare the advance search URL from jomsocial with the URL from "Amis".

for gender value at jomsocial advance search using COM_COMMUNITY_MALE or COM_COMMUNITY_FEMALE for gender value. you can see this value at URL. if using search from "Amis." the value male or female. thats why the search result from "Amis" not correct.

and for age, at your screenshot using number of age. at our advance search form using date.

Albert

Hi,
sorry but we don't understand what you are talking about.
The advance search module link is:
index.php?option=com_community&view=search&task=advancesearch.
This link is taken from the JomSocial Toolbar menu, it has been choosen from link type:Community/Advance search
So what do you mean by "not compatible" ? and why this link is not compatible ?
On top of that my problem description on my last post is in reference with the dating search module:
"Click on « Amis » then on the right side « Je recherche.... » with search criteria.
The results of the dating search module are displayed in an Advance search window. It's perhaps explained the confusion between the Dating search module and the Advance one. But anyway all the different search, described in my last post, are made through the dating module, not the Advance one.
Cheers,
L
