I use Jomsocial 2.4.1 with joomla 2.5.17.
I'd like to have notifications of jomsocial (small icons for new message, new friends, etc...) in my top menu in the right of my site: my menu i for the moment:
- name
- edit my profile
- disconnect

For the moment, these icons are in the defat toolbar menu of jomsocial.
These small icons could be at the place of the "edit my profile" link.
The problem is, I don't have the notification module in jomsocial 2.4.1, and I can't update to the new version, because I have lots of developments now.

Do you have a solution ?

I thought that a solution could be to copy code related to notification icons from the defat toolbar menu, to the top menu of my website, dans remplace "edit my profile" link with this code.
Is it possible ?

Hi Alex,

I am sorry the newest notification library/module cant be implemented in old Jomsocial, if you want achive this you need merge some of code from version 3.1.1 with 2.4, BUT this is beyond our support.. I suggest you hire 3rd party dev to achive this.
