Hi, Sorry to bother you but this has me stumped.
After installing the jomSocial module on the site I have a problem with the toolbar. I have read through the documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Toolbar_Explained documentation and there seems to be some anomolies with what I have and what should be expected.

  1. 1. A Entry page item WAS NOT created in the Main Menu - I attempted to modify this but with no success.
  2. 2. A Jomsocial menu item WAS created, However there are no menu Items (ie Home) in this even though it shows one on the front end.

  3. 3. When try to add a menu item (ie Home) I get an error message saying a menu item exists.
  4. 4. The Jomsocial Toolbar was not assigned to a module position.

I believe i have the Entry Page ID (/index.php?option=com_community&view=profile&Itemid=435) so I may be able to create menu items for Entry Page Navigation although I am a bit confused how this is going to work when this isn't assigned to a module.
[EDIT] Tried to add a new Entry Page menu item following the wiki guide - got the following error;

Appreciate any help or explanation you can provide in this area for me.
Thanks

Hi Brad,
You probably delete Menu item from the menu "JomSocial toolbar".
I have logged in at backend and didn't see any item under this menu.
Please add some item and check at frontend.
Thanks

Hi Brad,

Like Asraf said, you need add the jomsocial menu manually, seems the menus already deleted.. I just added 2 menus in Jomsocal toolbar for sample, and working fine.

Thanks Guys.

The issue was with the auto generation of the alias. Once I typed the alias in manually, I did not get the error and the menu item saved.

Cheers
Brad
