JomSocial Toobar and Joomla ACL view control

Hi JS,

I just read a post about how the JomSocial Toobar menu doesn't follow Joomla's ACL , i.e., if you add a menu item to the toolbar, you cannot restrict it to display only on a specific ACL access group.

Is there any workaround for this, or can you add it to the feature list for JomSocial?

The Toolbar menu is the perfect and most obvious place to put these sorts of menu items, since it is the primary interface for community members.

Anyway, I can see that I could add my restricted menu item(s) to the User Menu and display it on the profile page. Haven't tried it yet, but I think is isn't the most elegant solution.
