I have a couple of questions:

1) How can I call the near me events module by simple URL, feeding in the search parameter that I need. The parameter will be picked up from a pull down list.

2) How can do the same technique to call the search URL for events etc from a pull down menu

We only need to know how the URL and the garment names passed.

We appreciate your support.

mydomain.org/index.php?option=com_commun...k=search&search=Wine

This does not work it gives invalid token and also I only want to see the result of search directly not just coming back to the search

i.e. I need to put a button without the user entering anything and click on it so the search is pre-compiled directly.

I want to pass the title of the event and the location of the event and VOILA it should gives the results in a page

is that possible?

i.e. I need to know how to interface to the search functionality only via URL

http://xrisma.org/index.php/my-chrisma/events/search?search=&catid=0&startdate=&enddate=&location=Wine&radius=&unit=km&f7ee495ede7f5d56cbfd61d4bc6bf96f=1&option=com_community&view=events&task=search&Itemid=920&posted=1

Look at that URL for searching URL paramater..there is 'location' paramater, you can change the value 'Wine' to another location name.
