JomSocial Expired

Hi,

Having an issue with the WYSIWYG editor not displaying in JomSocial frontend, e.g. Events, Groups, etc... I have tried changing to a different plugin, but still not working.

See screenshot.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi, Andrew Gous.

To use WYSIWYG Editor you need to have "Allow HTML Codes" set to "Yes" in Configuration -> Layout.
WYSIWYG Editor creates html code so it need to have permission to do that.

It seems that js conflict does not allow you to use JomSocial editor (see att. jserrors.png).
Or jat3 gzip function mess up js by combining it.
So or you solve js errors or try to use JCE Editor instead (use profiles of JCE to set available buttons).

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
