I would like to change the email address for email notification. Where I can change?

My email notification are entered in spam folder now and I woule like to change another email address and test it.

Can you please open all the email notifications including groups, events etc.?

Are there any limites for email notification? For example if we have thousands of members and every day many email notification. Are there any limites or it depends on the server?

Hi, Linda.

You can change email from which emails are sent in Global Configuration -> Server -> Mail Settings

You can set your own limits for e.g New messages in JomSocial -> Configuration -> Anti Spam (look attachment).

No, you can't set a limit for notifications. Number of emails sent during some period of time could depends from your server settings. Also please check if your email address or email server IP it not blacklisted. You can check it with this tool: www.mail-tester.com/

Tester will also advise you what and how you can improve in your emails. Just resend email notification to spam tester.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

I have changed the email address to the website domain but it still goes to spam box.

Any suggestions?

I look at www.mail-tester.com/ but not sure how it works.

3. Enter your email box connected to email addres from which you're sending notifications
4. Find one of notification letters
5. Forward it to email address that you copied from www.mail-tester.com/
6. Go back to www.mail-tester.com/
7. Click "Then check your score"

9. At the end of the list is information about blacklists
