Invite friends feature does not work and people cannot recieve invitations.

I mean the email setting for send invitation to friends who is not members yet and this does not work.

I have sent two invitataions and after I sent it showed a message and "2 invitation sent" but the people who did not receive the email invitation.

I also look at the "request sent" and there is nothing record.

Can you please check?

This's made by design, only invitations between members of your community are displayed in "sent invitations". However we gonna re-design a lot of features, so I'll pass this thread to our developers.

I just turned the most bassic cron function which is necessary to send emails, which are in email queue. You can also use some more complex cron funtions mentioned here > documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Setting_Up_Cron_Job

I know. It is only the profile and not link to join the website.

Normally it should be another link ( such as Accept invitation) that people click and then they can register direct to the site. After they register the site as a member and it will be automatically connected as this person sent the invitation.

Can you add that link to the email?

This's how JomSocial was designed to work, and changing this will need some php code modifications which are beyond our support scope, also in JomSocial 3.2 we gonna re-design a lot of things, I'll just pass this thread to our developers and maybe they'll consider this as a good idea.
