Unable to login with facebook

ISSUE SUMMARY:

Hello,

Facebook login shows following error:
"We're sorry, but administrators are not allowed to associate their accounts with Facebook."

I have tried with many email id but still unable to login. I have also tried to create a new facebook app but still there is no luck.

Please help.

Hi, Navon.

You're trying to associate your profile with FB account?
Is your Joomla! account/profile an admin?
If so - you can't do that whet notification explains.
Rather create regular user (Joomla! group "Registered") and associate your FB account with it.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Any new user unable to login with facebook. And new user is not admin by default.

Notification that you posted above suggested something else... it apply to JS profile / FB profile association.
Your issue is caused by lack of FB configuration in JomSocial:

So no integration is made - no FB button is displayed: i.imgur.com/6OVElX5.png
Also buttons available in your login form are NOT related in any way with JomSocial.
Browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Configuration -> Integrations and provide necesary credentials.
