ISSUE SUMMARY:
Trying to setup FB connect. I want to make sure that if my users post something on their social stream it will also show up on FB? Will it leave any trace of the original post on FB i.e. my site address?

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Trying to get FB API key - I want to make sure that my users can also post the same content on FB and still be connected on my site and FB. It is hard for some people to switch. Please confirm that this is how this FB connect functions.

Facebook is quite jealous for their content :) So it's rather other way round: only status updates from JomSocial can be shared on FB. So,
posting on FB will NOT posting on JomSocial. Regarding other content of JomSocial like photos or videos you could share them on FB... but again they will be NOT imported from FB to JS.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

So we can share from JC to FB. That is fine. Would jomsocial work sharing and posting with the addthis.com widget - Share -? For example: If I was on FB and wanted to share something with my site and my site was added to the addthis share widget it could be connected and shared from FB (or any other site) to my atn JC page?

I'm sorry but currently the only way to share something on JS is to post an URL in post box.
You can't add JS to addthis widget as it simply doesn't support JS.
This should be rather asked Addthis developers.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
