Login via Facebook on mobile redirects to FB login
ISSUE SUMMARY:
Login via Facebook on mobile redirects to FB login even when community member has the Facebook app on their phone and are already logged in via the app
STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1On a mobile device that has the FB app and is already logged in to the app > go to
www.inrhythm.com.au/facilitator-training...hm-facilitator-forum
2 click on sign in with FB
3 notice the mobile devise will redirect you to sign in to facebook first (every time) even when you are alrady logged into the FB app
Thanks Dimas,
Please find 2 videos attached.
The first one shows how even though I am logged in to my facebook app that I still need to go through the process every time when I log into my jom social community via Facebook
Can something be set so that if someone has logged in on their device that they stay logged in for a period of time (like a month)
Having to go through this process is a deterrent to my members engaging in the community and they prefer to use a Facebook Group :(
Another issue this seems to cause is that when I am surfing through the community, occasionally an internal link will take me to a page that says 'you dont have authority to view this page, you must log in'
The second video shows an issue with the options button on the profile page not working.
Do you guys have an iphone you can test this all on?
I am really keen to get this working smoothly and seamlessly for my members so they are encouraged to engage
here are the .mov files again - please let me know if your system allows .mov file uploads?
if not, is there an email address I can send them to?
Thanks
I see, your FB native app is different with FB mobile site, different session.. so this is normal behavior, the session from FB native app and FB mobile browser is not connected each others :)
