time out can from apache or php. try to increase:
max_execution_time
max_input_time
memory_limit

from php configuration. double it

I cannot change those values in my current hosting. So I am in a process of migrating to a different one. Hopefully i will have a better logging. I will share those values here so we can see what is going on.

Ok. I changed my hosting provider. Changed the max_execution value and was able to finish the installation. However, i still think that you guys need to reconsider your scripts and find out why this issue has been introduced since version 4.03 . Because JS installation is only script which requires such a long execution time.


Anyway. My issue is not solved yet! I have updated JS to the newest version (as described here above) and have also applied the following fix: www.jomsocial.com/forum/modules-plugins-...tration-error#129697

I applied the patch. The error seems to be gone. However the FB-connect does not function as before. I sometimes do not see the pop-up or any response. When i refresh the browser, sometimes it seems that i am logged in and sometimes i am not. i also do not get forward after login.

I found something strange at your server. please try to turn off all server cache system if any. cloud flare, etc.
if you open this file from browser www.fillupmyluggage.com/components/com_c...release/js/loader.js
and open /components/com_community/assets/release/js/loader.js by using FTP. and compare it.

as you can see, the result are different. not sure your server loaded it from where (or maybe cache)

the correct one must be like this:
demo.jomsocial.com/components/com_commun...release/js/loader.js

after that loader.js has been fixed. please try to turn off System - CW Facebook JS, seem the issue from there

However, i don't understand what you mean by turning off the CW Facebook JS.

that plugin that are you using at your site. I just find that facebook login got redirect to:
fillupmyluggage.com/ship-goods/add-your-trip-or-shipment

thats why got undefined error.

seem that from other component. please try to turn off it first.

I disabled that. However, the redirection of JS does not work properly. That is why i used a third part redirector, and it seemed to work. As you can see, i get redirected to the search page and not to the "Entry form".

It looks like we are getting there step by step.

The faceboook connect works not. but for redirect issue. that from Redirect on login extension. not related with jomsocial.
you can use jomsocial direct plugin. but that plugin for non facebook login only. for facebook login, we still improving that plugin. so that facebook login will be respected.
