Facebook Connect pop-up window blank after entering FB login details

ISSUE SUMMARY:

Facebook Connect pop-up window blank. I 'believe' this may have something to do with the fact that we're using Akeeba Admin Tools, as the FB Connect button was working fine last time we checked and the only thing that I can think of that has changed between now and then is the implementation of Admin Tools.

In troubleshooting, I have renamed/removed the .htaccess file and completely disabled Admin Tools, but the problem persists. I have also made sure that the 'Require App Secret' and 'Stream post URL security' flags are set to 'No' and 'Off' respectively in the FB Application settings.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Attempt to log in using the 'Sign in with Facebook' button
2 Enter your FB login credentials
3 The page redraws with a blank pop-up and does not log you in


RESULT
The FB Connect login popup is blank after entering FB login credentials


EXPECTED RESULT
The site should load JomSocial in a logged-in state using the information provided through the FB/JS Connect bridge.

Hi Todd,

1. I saw your htaccess having redirect index.php to /, please remove it.
2. and try FB connect again, if still blank. please have a look at server error logs. seem there is internal server error.

Thanks for the quick reply!

I have removed the AdminTools .htaccess file and replaced it with the default .htaccess file included in the Joomla install (I had already done this multiple times in troubleshooting the issue before contacting JS support, but neglected to mention in my previous post).

I have also checked the server logs continually during my troubleshooting sessions and am not seeing any errors relating to JS or FB Connect.

Any idea where else to look?

Hi Todd,

seem your server prevent error message appear at your site. after check the FB code. I put latest fixes for joomla 3.2.15
