FB-connect button on homepage not visible after update to v4

Hi guys,
Yesterday i updated my jomsocial to the latest version (V4.01). After the update is the FB-connect button not visible anymore on the frontpage. Can you help me on this?

Ok. one more detail. It seems to work in Chrome, FireFox & Safari. But the button is not visible in Opera.

I am using Opera 28.0

Hi Michal,
Sorry for reopening this topic again. But this issue keeps happening. When the button is not visble, refreshing will help. Sometimes it helps when hovering with the mouse above the button. The problem does not accure everttime though, that is why you could not reproduce it. It happens with every browser.

Could this be caused because of a conflict with the template?

Hmm, I get I every time displayed... after short while as button is loaded from FB servers...
I could see in console:

FB.init has already been called - this could indicate a problem
Invalid App Id: Must be a number or numeric string representing the application id.

No, it's rather not a bug but your site specific issue. Do upgrade to JomSocial 4.0.3 and then create new FB app according to instructions.
Then post here about results.

Is it possible that it might be cause by the change to API 2? Google is depricating API. Is FB-connect compatible with the new API?
