JomSocial Expired

HI

FBconnect is configured and works
ie - a new user can connect to the website using the login with facebook button and a new website account is created.
They can then subsequently login to the website using FBconnect each time, no problem.

The problem I have is that if a user registers using the jomsocial registration process then once they have an account they are unable to use the link to facebook account
Process - login > Profile > edit profile > Account details > Associate Your Facebook Login or signin with facebook >
Now this part confuses me as I am already logged into facebook in the same browser (other FB connects I use, ie CB, auto login at this point if am am already logged in to FB)
Should the Associate Your Facebook Login be a link?

As the only other option presented is OR Sign in with facebook which is a bit confusing when I am already signed into facebook

NB
If I do use the signin with facebook then I can link FB to my account

just very confusing where it presents two options but only one is actionable.

Or am I missing something?

Hi Iain,

You are using 2 FBConnect extension, first from Jomsocial and second from another 3rd party FBC, I suggest you disabled FBC from the 3rd party to avoid your confusing.

thank you

Sorry for confusion, I use CB FB connect on a different site not this one, I mentioned it just as an example.

Hi, Ian.

1. If user have a traditional account (registered in Community via registration form) here can associate his account with Facebook to use Facebook login: prntscr.com/3vx93i

2. If user registered in Community via Facebook this option is disabled: prntscr.com/3vx970

3. Administrator account can't be assigned with Facebook.

- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
