I am getting feedback from my members that the Facebook login doesn't work. I have many Facebook users. This is a big problem for my site! Please help!

I an very sorry for the position you are in with Facebook connect not working. Code that was necessary for Joomla 3.3. (i know yours is 2.5) but this code had to be put into all versions in case the user upgraded. The file involved is one of the main controllers for Jomsocial and we are finding that the changes made are having unpredictable results for some users sites.

We have developers working on it right now and have been since the error was reported. It is complex and needs to be tested across all versions of joomla. While this isn't solving your problem i wanted to explain what is happening. I am expecting to see a release any moment and even though it is causing a delay we need to check it will fix it for all customers.

Ok, thank you Paul, for your feedback. I will wait and hope... Perhaps is it possible for me to change a facebook user to a jomsocial user?

new version has been released, 3.2.0.4 can you try to upgrade ? but don't forget BACKUP YOUR ENTIRE SITE + DATABASE FIRST :)

I just tried and created a new user called Pauljomsocial using Facebook connect then logged out and back in may times and it is all working fine for me
