If a user is already logged in to Facebook in another browser window to tab, then tries to login to my Jomsocial site via FB Connect, they get this error: The system was unable to detect your Facebook Login. Please try again.

This does not happen if they are not logged in to Facebook already. What is causing this, and how can we fix it?

Thanks Michal, but most of this doesn't apply… and #4 doesn't seem like a good idea.

#1 and #2 do not apply, we are running Jomsocial 3.

#3 does not apply, we have no other Facebook code or modules on the site.

#4 (set session handler to "none")…I'm not sure this is a good idea. I have read many articles that say this can lead to many other problems…

#5 Does not apply. Suhosin is not installed, it cannot be found anywhere in my site's PHP information.

#6 Does not apply. This Facebook App is brand new, it was created last week.

Correction to earlier post… the error occurs even when the users is completely logged out of Facebook. If they are logged in to Facebook already, the error happens immediately. If they are not logged in to Facebook, they get a little further into the FB login process, they see their avatar, they see the checkboxes for importing FB profile info, then they get the same error after that. Either way they are getting the error.

You could try following:

1. Make sure that you have enabled cURL library on your server
2. Try to create another app and use new FBBkeys
3. Upgrade JomSocial to current stable version -> JomSocial 3.1.1
