HI
when using fbconnect to login I am directed to a different server not the website logged in page

This is the same for new user or existing user

I do get logged in but the page redirect is incorrect - the fbconnect is working as it posts to facebook
If I login using the standard joomla or jomsocial then login works fine

Would this be a url that I set in FB app or Jomsocial? and if so where do I set it.
I have looked around both FB and JS but am unable to figure this out.

Site under construction so url is include in misc info

Please you change your site URL to petshopforall.co.uk/ instead of the current site URL, which that is wrong, because you use the FB app for this site petshopforall.co.uk/ as well.

If you are suggesting that I change the websites main url of wightshops.com?
This would not be possible as it is the name of the business

your Jomsocial installed in this site right petshopforall.co.uk? so in the FB app setting you should set the site url to petshopforall.co.uk/wightshops as well.

I initially used this before I registered the wighshops.com domian

I see, are you using sandbox in your FB app setting? can you turn it off ?

I did try changing fb app to petshopforall.co.uk/wightshops

but still same problem

If you wanna use petshopforall.co.uk/wightshops please use site url petshopforall.co.uk dont put the folder of that site

This I did as FB automatically corrects it for me

As I said earlier

The app is working - I can login and post but the login in url takes me to a different website
using the fbconnect logis me in, I then go back to the site, post in my wightshops.com timeline and this appears on my FB profile timeline so the app is working - just the wrong login url.

I have also now deleted the FB app for petshopsforall.co.uk

Aha, just noticed that I can use FB login to login to wightshops.com when using the FB dev profile
But if I try to login to wightshops.com using a different FB profile (having logged out of facebook as fb dev profile and logged in to FB as a different user) the FB login popup window just hangs

OK, it does hang for a while but then does login, same again, does login me in and creates a new user but taken to a different website

Shall I delete the FB app and try creating a new one?

Entered new api key and application secret into jomsocial FB connect cfg

But still have same problem
