Hi,
after update JS to 4.4.5 I can't update extensions: Error 0 Class 'CFactory' not found

Hi Dimas,
JomSocial working fine, but look at: Extensions->Manage->Update
Before installing JS the updates worked fine

well, that issue already fixed in version 4.4.4, if you update from version 4.4.1 you will find some problem :)

The problem is in plugin System - JS Force Fields. Once disabled, the CFactory error does not occur and the Joomla extensions can be updated.

Fatal error: Class 'CFactory' not found in /plugins/system/forcefields/forcefields.php on line 28

I was able to replicate this issue.
Reported to our developers.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Edit this file:

ROOT/plugins/system/forcefields/forcefields.php

And add this:

require_once(JPATH_ROOT . '/components/com_community/libraries/core.php');

Right under line 10.
