Jomsocial will not upgrade or upload manually. Waste of time and money when not ready.
Have noticed that files are larger and reset PHP to larger upload limit 12M for upgrade. Does not work
Tried uploading to Temp and still does not work.
By using manual install, the install stalls then defaults to the Joomla extension directory.

Your post_max_size is 8M, please you upgrade it to 10M

The settings were changed as per my original statement. Jomsocial will not recognize the change.

cPanel PHP max execution time (Minimum: 90) 90 s default - 300 s
cPanel PHP max POST size (Minimum: 55; Maximum: 2,047) 55 MB default - 250 MB
cPanel PHP max upload size (Minimum: 50; Maximum: 2,047) 50 MB default - 500 MB

The changes allowed the installation but Jomsocial will not load now. I have tried past suggestions for bugs in 4. 4.2 but changes do not allow loading.

Disabled chat and it works. Need a product that is ready to release.

OK it is installed but Chat is not working. I have had to disable it. Same problem as was happening in 4.4, 4.4.1 etc.

What is the patch?

I think it should be noted that the file upload size set to install this component needs to set higher than the default Joomla upload size of 8M.
This upload size is different than the Media upload size and has to be set in PHP.ini.
post_max_size - Sets max size of post data allowed. This setting also affects file upload. To upload large files, this value must be larger than upload_max_filesize. Generally speaking, memory_limit should be larger than post_max_size.
After I changed mine it loaded in Joomla: Message
Installation of the component was successful.
I am running Jomsocial 4.5 and Joomla 3.8.2
