JomSocial 4.4.1 (I do not see old private messages)

I have a problem - after the upgrade, I no longer see old private messages.

where were all the personal messages written before the update gone?
How can this be remedied?

Thank you for contacting us.
Please, browse to Backend -> Components -> JomSocial -> Monitor -> Mail queue and click Execute cron button in upper right corner.
Cron should be fired and older messages restored.

It worked!

But how do I make the messages with the same user to be as one conversation with the user, and not as several different conversations?

How to merge messages?

You can't do that. I think it depends on date they ware crated...

This not normal. There must be one big dialogue with the user. And not a multitude of different dialogues, especially since it is not visible the topic of the dalogue even.

This apply ONLY to migrated messages, not the new ones.
Migrato checks post dates... if they are much different, then separated chats are created.

You can make an option to combine old messages if all these messages were with the same user? in all social networks there is only 1 dialogue with the user, and not a lot of different.

please make a button in the new version JomSocial, to merge old messages into one dialog.

a lot of dialogues with the same user looks ugly. already anywhere is not present such.

Sure, there is always option to add something... but as for now we have only one request.
If more users will report this issue... we'll think about it.
