Mail/chat lost and not possible to delete old mail/chat after update.

Hi,

After the update to 4.4.1 a lot of member complain about lost mail.
Some have some old mail but not recently, some don´t have any at all.
I have a lot from December 2012 to June 2015 but after that everything is gone.

Maybe it´s time to delete some old mails but I can´t find any way of deleting them.
Is something missing in our module, see photo.



Please help us get all mail back in place.

I'll report this right away.

The old message need to be migrated to chat database, you need run cron job over and over for this..

Can you explain how I do that over and over manually or will they come back by it self in time?

Hi Dimas,

Now we have run the " yoursite.com/index.php?option=com_community&task=cron " don´t know how times but no changes.
We still have mail before 2015 and after the update but nothing in-between.

Please give us a hand, members are going bananas ;-)

Hi Michal.

Strange, when I tested after I saw your post I worked.
I used the same link with copy & past.

Anyway now members have mail back.
Don´t now if everybody is happy but seems to work.

But,

My own profile is so slow in loading.
It takes more than a minute.

I don´t know if it´s becours all my old mail ore something else.
Is there a way to delete old mail until the delete button appears?

If that dosen´t fix it have you any idea?

I asked Alberto to took a look - it seems he fixed it :)
Yes, it may be that you have a lot of old messages.
We're working on option to remove older messages.
For now it's possible only direct in database.

Hi Michal,

My admin profile JBX is terribly slow.
So slow that I get timeout.
Some other members also have problems with slow profiles and other don´t.
My testprofile "Testprofil" is working ok.
I have deleted all messages in the DB but I still can see them in my profile.
Something is very strange.

Plesae take a look at it and come with some advice.
Do you need login to my profile JBX you can have it, just say so.
