hi, i updated from 4.3.5 to 4.4.0 and in the front im receiving

1054 - Unknown column 'c.type' in 'field list'

is my testing site.

problem is the chat .. if you disable chat option in configuration menu, its works again ..

documentation for jomsocial is very poor ...the problem now is found doc for solve chat issue

You need to add a missing column "type" Char(50) in table #__community_chat. You'll need to use MyPHPadmin.

Fill fields like this: prntscr.com/gbmex0 and hit SAVE.

Again, repeat steps for that column. Finally you should have this:

Instead Char(50) you should have init(11) - just like on printscreen.

Those columns are present in 4.4.x - for some reason they weren't created in your database.
