JomSocial Active

Hi I just upgraded JomSocial and the site crashed totally after the upgrade :-(

I get the following error:

Fatal error: Class 'cobject' not found in /home/proutglo/public_html/resources/components/com_community/libraries/core.php on line 1622
Site is here:

prout-global.org/resources/

Please help, site is down and members are very unhappy :-(

UPDATE

As you do not work on weekends :-( I had to completely remove JomSocial in order to keep the site alive.

I also tried to use the ijoomla installer but that just froze the admin area. Grrr. :-(

Pretty unhappy about the $99 I just spent :-(

HI, Karl.

Thank you for contacting us... and provideing your site details.
Yes, we do work in weekends but support is limited and reply time is longer.

I've checked your site and tried to install JomSocial. Result is: prntscr.com/g4u1ee
Please, check explanation of this error: www.daveperrett.com/articles/2009/11/18/...st-entity-too-large/
The conclusion is that your server may not meet our system requirements: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/JomSoci..._System_Requirements

Please, contact with your hosting provider and report that issue to them. Share my screenshot with them.
They should check your server settings or advise how to increase them.

Uninstalling JomSocial will keep your data safe in database. So after server issue is fixed community data restoration will be possible.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
