Hi, I need your help on a very strange and annoying issue...
Yesterday I was testing jomsocial features and I noticed that the profile edit tab was not working.

I restored a backup from last week and everything worked as they should.
Today the exact same thing happened but this time I'm 100% sure that I didn't messed up anything which has to do (even remotely) with the current tab

Everything is updated at its last version.
I am attaching an image to see for yourself.

Please check it and let me know what's wrong.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, Ioannis.

Thank you for contacting us.
Issue is caused by jQuery library that is loaded twice: prntscr.com/g3vtzi
This cause script conflict and many features don't work.
Please, remove additional jQuery load.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Thanks for your quick response but unfortunately I can't find a way to use this knowledge...
Is it possible that Socialize2 Template and Jomsocial Component have javascript conflicts?
Where can I find the problematic one and discard it?
Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi, Ioannis.

Please, take a look at printscreen in my previous post.
I marked one jQuery that comes form Joomla!
Below it is jQuery loaded from external source.
Socialzie or JomSocial do not load own jQuery but use Joomla! one.
So probably one of your 3rd party extensions... module or component loads additional one. When you need to do is to review all your components and modules and check if there is option to disable jQuery loading. If you don't find it: disable modules and components one by one with page refresh. Then check if issue is gone. That way you'll find offending extension.
