I have a fresh install Joomla 3, Jomsocial and Helix 3 framwork template. Installations went fine with no errors. However, in Jomsocial all the dropdown menu-items from Jomsocial toolbar does not show. Maybe here is som JS conflict with the Helix 3 megamenu. Has anybody got a clue how to fix this.

Thanks Dimas for your quick reply.

Sure, you can have the login and FTP details as requested. Just tell me the safe way to get this infomation over to you directly, as I will not post it on the forum.

For your information I also have JoomDev to have a look at this as they are the provider of the JD OHIO template. When I use other template like Protostar there are no problems with JS toolbar to show dropdown menu-items

With regards

OK Dimas. Now I see how to send the private info. :-) I have updated with the details. Thanks again.

If you have time to have a check it would be fine.
I have searched internet and there seem to be forum posts available if you search for: jomsocial megamenu problem.
www.jomlart.com has written about this, but I do not have access to their forum to read the complete posts.

The people over at JoomDev has not reported any solution yet.

I tried to re-install JomSocial. No error messages shown by installer, but installer does not go away when installation is done, and when I try to access jomsocial from the back, it brings up the installer again Front end is like before.

Should I re-install a resent akeeba backup to get everything back as before i tried to reinstall Jomsocial ??

Dimas,

Ref my last message about re-installing JomSocial.
I switched template to Protostar and tried to reinstall JomSocial once again. This time the installer completed all OK, however on frontpage the dropdown menu items still do not show., but they all are fine with Protostar template as default.

So it is definitively the JD OHIO template that is causing the problem. If you have some additional info, then I will bring it over to JoomDev
