Problem after installing JS 4.3.4 Pro. Now there is a update of JS 4.3.4 blockin

Hi,
Asked a question in the community and Sinisa asked me to post this here.
After installing JS 4.3.4 Pro Joomla notifies me that an update of Jomsocial 4.3.4 standard is available.
There is also a update of JCE editor.
I don´t se the point of installing the JS 4.3.4 when I have the JS 4.3.4 Pro.
However I can´t make JS 4.3.4 go away from my update site and when I´m trying to update the JCE I get a yellow warning that I have to download js manually from my account.
It´s blocking my JCE update.

On update, information box says that I should download the package manually.

Just got notis that there is a other update.
Widgetkit 2 - Joomla 3.x Extension 2.9.7 to 2.9.8
The same result, can´t update it, JS is blocking it.

Hi Jonas

I have fixed the issue on your site. The "Pro" word should be removed.

We advertise pro and standard as "Plans" now, the extension is exactly the same and it isn't logical to be there.


- Don't say feature not working. Instead, explain what you tried and what was the outcome.
- When you think you found the bug, try to replicate it on a fresh Joomla.
- When looking for support always provide temporary Super Administrative access to your site. We will ask for it anyway.
- Help yourself and read documentation which can give you answers to almost all questions you may have

Now the JS is not there but I can´t update the other 2.
Get the same warning to download JS.

I passed it to our developers to investigate it further.
We should have fix ASAP.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Replace ROOT/plugins/system/jomsocialredirect/jomsocialredirect.php with file from package.

Just did the other and it works but I still get:

Update: Could not open update site #47 "Socialize Template", URL: wwww.jomsocial.com/updates/socialize_update.xml

It wasn't´t there before JS 4.3.4

You can re-download the socialize package now (i have just updated all the others) and re-install it.

Then the message should be gone (it's a typo actually) :)

Well, thats normal

You must go to the "Update Stes manager" in Joomla to delete (or disable) those that are wrong like "wwww.socialize..."
I deleted that one for you :)
