Dear JomSocial team,

I have JomSocial 3.2.0.4 installed right now. It is the old installation from my old website. My developer basically copied the whole site, then upgraded the Joomla version (to Joomla 3.6.5 right now!) , installed a new Template (by RocketTheme, compatible with the newest Joomla version) and upgraded it and now the JomSocial plugin has to be upgraded. In the HowToUpgrade you wrote that one has to install the iJoomla Installer first, then it would upgrade the whatever old version one has to JomSocial 3.2.1.6 and then upgrade that one to the 4.3.

So I installed the iJoomla Intaller over the extensions menu in Joomla, but now it does not show any updates for the current JomSocial 3.2.0.4 that I have installed. What should I do?

Actually you can upgrade by using upload the package directly, download the latest jomsocial version from www.jomsocial.com/my-account and then extract the zip pacakge, find jomsocial package there and use it for upgrading.

thanks, the installation routine you described worked out just fine. I just wanted to be extra careful since our old jomsocial version messed up the template a lot in connection with Joomla 3.6.
