Hi,

The list of positions is very useful indeed. About the new modules, in fact I gave them a quick look before but it seems that I cannot get them to work the way I expected. I intend to show in that position the friends and groups of that particular user. These should correspond to the lists you can view when clicking on the Friends and Groups links directly below the user avatar (see screenshot, hope you'll recognize all elements despite of the language). But with my settings (see other screenshots) the modules consistently report that there is nothing to show, regardless if a user has a list of friends and/or groups.

I hope that you can find out what I am doing wrong.

HI, Frits.

Ok, my bad - let's do step back. Disable those modules as they display general info.
Browse to Backend -> Extensions -> Plugins and look for My Friends and My Groups plugins. Enable them and set as core plugins.
Now it should be more like it ;)

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

Hi Michal,

That's it, thanks.

The develop site with then new JS version should now reflect the same situation as on the live site. I'll have someone take a second look at it and then hopefully I can transfer the changes to the live site without any more qustions or issues to solve.

I will keep this topic open until the transfer was successful, just in case, but I'd like you to know that for this moment I am happy with the results.

Kind regards, Frits
