My Joomla isntallation area says i have installed Socialize but when i go to JomSocial dashboard, i see no way of making it the default.
Its not listed. Only the general template is listed.

Its not listed under Theme Designer
Its not listed under Configuration


How do you install it? the Wiki says it can be installed using the iJoomla installer and i did that, but it appears no where.

so is socialize a template for Jomsoial layout or is it a template for Joomla as a whole?
I was purchasing it under the guise of it being a template ONLY for Jomsocial.

Well that doesnt work at all actually. And im sure that you wont offer a refund for it as its a digital item.
The problem is its not marketed as "Joomla Template' As far as i can see its only marketed as a Jomsocial template and this is probably whats causing all the confusion with people asking "Where is it" and "How do i make my Jomsocial look like it"

Im currently looking at an email that was sent out this morning by JomSocial and even there its not marketed as a Joomla Core template.
The email sent out has a subject line of "The Perfect JomSocial Template"
Guys, JomSocial is a component / Plugin that works inside the core of Joomla so this leads us and me to believe that this is a TEMPLATE for JomSocial, as its stated.
In the email, one of the points it says to help our site is "Get a truly AMAZING JomSocial template!"
It doesnt say "Get a truly AMAZING JomSocial Joomla! template!

In the backend of our Joomla sites, the JomSocial component and plugin fall under ONE particular word enbeded in its CODEING. "com_community"
See where it says COMMUNITY?
If i go into the modules admin area and search a type of "Com or Community" i get nothing but a Toolbar for JomSocial.
But theyd all fall under "Community"
If i go into the plugins area and search for anything related to JomSocail, they too all fall under the type of "Community"

All these points are leading us to believe that in any advertising you offer for JomSocial, is also calling it a Community.

Im sorry but in dont want my Joomla! site as a whole to appear as the Socialize template.
So what do i do now? I have a template i dont need, from a wonderful company, that wont apply to the look of the site i have built. Although its great, i (and im sure im not alone) have purchased it thinking it was ONLY for the "Community" part of the website.
