issue after upgrade

ISSUE SUMMARY:
After upgrade jomsocial crashes

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 with ijoomla installer installed security update
2 once completed it crashed

Could you elaborate about issue you experience?
What you mean by "crashes"? What is result of that "crash" and where it could be seen? Does it happens during upgrade process?


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

yes it crashes and even backend jomsocial admin access also crashes after clicking on jomsocial menus.

I saw this error on your site. I need to know a little bit more about what you actually id.
You upgraded from which version? Very old one?
What Joomla! version?

Joomla latest version
Jomsocial 1 down version before this patch 4.2.x

There was upgrade option available in in ijoomla installer and once i clicked it didnot finished as expected after clicking next. What shouldbe done let me know to recover .

Please, try this:

0. Make a safe copy of your whole system (files and database)
1. Browse to Backend -> Extensions -> Extension Manager -> Manage
2. Search all extensions using filter "com"
3. Uninstall all JomSocial related extensions
4. Search all extensions using filter "jom"
5. Uninstall all JomSocial related extensions
6. Download latest JomSocial package from here: www.jomsocial.com/component/digistore/licenses
7. Unzip it
8. Install com_community package via Joomla! installer
9. Follow installation steps

can you let me know how to access backend site url?

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare azrulSysBot() (previously declared in /home/nirajshah78/public_html/plugins/system/jomsocial.system/jomsocial.system.php:68) in /home/nirajshah78/public_html/plugins/system/azrul.system/azrul.system.php on line 94

it is giving error at front end and back end

Hi, Nir.

Try to rename this folder: ROOT/plugins/system/azrul.system just by adding -old on the end.
You may also remove that folder and edit database _extensions table to remove it from there. But first method should work.
