snag.gy/8fMdG0.jpg
Please, click on that link ;)
Your posted a snapshot from following link:
sportpartnerboerse.at/index.php/register
But if I follow the link "Registrieren":
following link is opened, and there is no Button to see:
sportpartnerboerse.at/index.php/componen...s/?view=registration
Why are ther different URLs?
Hi, Hermann.
They are different as first link is JomSocial registration and second is native Joomla! registration :)
Settings made in JomSocial won't apply to Joomla! native registration.
Furthermore it bad to have both registration as parallel. In that case users or bots may bypass community registration and all profile fields won't be filled.
To avoid that you need to enable JomSocial Redirect plugin and set to overwrite Joomla! native registration. Also configure landing points for login, logout and failed login (make sure you do it right so failed logins won't end on page that is restricted for logged in users only).
Thank you for your help.
Due to I`m a beginner, please could you be so kind,
and tell me what to do in step by step form:
eg. where is redirect plugin
eg. where are the landing page configurations, what do i need to write into?
Thanks Hermann
Hi, Herman.
Okay, please, follow this steps:
1. Login to Joomla! backend.
2. Browse to Backent -> Extensions -> Plugins
3.Above plugin list there will be search filed - type in JomSocial Redirect and hit enter.
4. You should have list with that plugin only.
5. Click on red dot at left so it will turn into green - this will enable plugin.
6. Now click on plugin name.
7. By default it will be set that plugn will override Joomla! default registration so you don't have worry about it.
8. But below you'll see 3 dropdown fields. Each one is for certain action. You should just pick up from the list menu item that should be a landing page for one of action. So for example: Successful login - your community frontpage, for Failed login - your site frontpage, and for logout - your site frontpage as well. This setting should work. but you may decide to show different pages so it's up to you what menu item you choose. Just make sure that guest may see it.
