Error 1267 in logs Guru menu

ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hello, I have 1267 error when click System Emails and Purchases in logs Guru menu. This is the error:
1267 Illegal mix of collations (utf8_unicode_ci,IMPLICIT) and (utf8_general_ci,IMPLICIT) for operation '=' SQL=SELECT l.*, u.name as user_name FROM #__guru_logs l, #__users u where u.email=l.to and l.buy_type='' order by send_date desc LIMIT 0,100

I'm sorry to hear you have troubles with Guru.
I assign developer to investigate this issue further.
He'll contact you ASAP.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Ricardo,

It is because some columns from "guru_logs" database table have not the collation - utf8_general_ci You need to change the collation for all that columns or if this is not ok for you, please provide us the database access (phpMyAdmin URL and username/password) and I will do all these changes for you.

I tried to do it but when I save the changes with utf8_general_ci collation the collation come back to none.
