Server Requirements for JomSocial

Hi,

Our current website is troton.com which is build in Joomla 1.5 with Community Builder,Few extensions from axxis.gr, and some custom developed extensions for Videos & Photos
Now we are rebuilding our website using latest Joomla 3.6.x version. The works are coming up fine and also we were able to successfully migrate the users including profile data from Joomla 1.5/Community Builder to Joomla 3.6.x/JomSocial using our own custom scripts.
( Sorry for the broken K2 images. We still working on them )

There were around 30000+ Users, 300+ k2 blog articles and the website will still grow

After migrating the content we noticed the the website is slower.
Can you please let us know the best Server Requirement for website like us.

I think our current server configuration is:
RAM: 8 GB
CPU: 4 X Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU X3220 @ 2.40GHz
OS: I think it will be - CLOUDLINUX 6.8 x86_64 standard – server

I already checked the below post and document, and configured the PHP as per the requirement.

Please, edit your first post and provide your site credentials.


- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
