Ok.... my question is out of the list probably. I just want to get from Jomsocial team recommendation based on my website requirement that allow user can upload video.

1. Which hosting company is recommended from jomsocial team?
2. What plan should be best? VPS or dedicated?

Now many depends how vital your community will be. How many active member it willl have.
It may be that shared hosting will be enough... or you may need a dedicated server.
So we can't say - you need to monitor your community and make decisions.

But you may start with sharing hosting (price is lower).
The problem with shared hosting is that many of them doesn't offer access FFMPEG library or their library version is out of date.
So you need to ask about it before you purchase hosting.

Recently I tested Siteground. It's fine for start for small community.
But they don't offer FFMPEG so you need to combine Amazon S3 with Zencoder (additional costs).

Thank you for your reply and recommendation Michal. Recently i tested Dreamhost VPS... but got dfficulties on setting ffmpeg...the server does supprt ffmpeg.... but at the end..its not working...

either the setting not correct by me or the version is outdated.

Your idea on using siteground seem fair... what hosting package you test? What type of storage you use on Amazon? standard or glacier?
