Something goes wrong with the meta tags and page name. At least not in de same way as with all other Joomla pages
In the general settings I have set that the site name is added after the page name
in the menu item I set my robot tag as index, follow, I set a different description and keywords in my menu item
when I go to this page: lernejo.academy/index.php/en/courses/lernejoPCategs
the page title only shows as Course Categories, should be Course Categories - Lernejo .....
The metatags in the page are
<meta name="keywords" content="Lernejo, Academy, elearning" />
<meta name="description" content="Lernejo Academy, the easy way for a life long learning" />
<meta name="generator" content="Lernejo Academy" />

but my settings in my menu lernejo.academy/administrator/index.php?...m&layout=edit&id=440 , is set to different text.

Why is this not showing as expected and what happens for all other Joomla pages, it only shows my standard text and tags as I have in the general settings

the same happens with the teacher overview page

I just checked these pages, and Guru made changes only in Page Title meta data, I commented that line from:
"/components/com_guru/views/guruauthor/tmpl/default.php" line 35
"/components/com_guru/views/gurupcategs/tmpl/default.php" line 19
But anything else change the meta keywords, description from your page.

I still have only courses as page title
<title>Courses</title>
my settings in joomla, always show site title behind page title is not working here
should be

The same problem with my menu item teachers

so do I need to set these keywords, meta description etc somewhere else?

All Guru meta are hardcoded and they are like this:

for teacher profile page:
$doc->setTitle($author->name." ".JText::_("GURU_TEACHER_PROFILE"));

for teacher main page:
$doc->setTitle(JText::_("GURU_AUTHORS_LIST"));

where is a value default and a language variable.

atm there are two ways:
1. I commented out these lines and the page meta will be joomla driven - is how is done now. Code is commented, meta come from menu.
2. We can put back the code and you modify the languages variables as you want.
