ISSUE SUMMARY:

I have setup my site in 3 languages. The 'standard' text can be changes with languages files. That part I understand.
Standard in Joomla I can add menus in multiple languages and 'connect' them so when switching language I get the other menu/page with different language.

How can I create that in GURU. I can only add categories in the GURU component. Those are automatically added in the category menu. I now want to translate those categories (and also descriptions etc) but how can I do that.

I don't want to have a list with cat-1-UK, cat-1-DE, cat-1-NL and that for 40 categories. Usability will then be very low. So is there a way to use the standard Joomla way of adding a language var to every content and then associate the similar parts.
It would be good to have that also for the category picture etc.

I'm sorry to say that but Guru doesn't support Joomla! multilingual feature (yet).
The only option is to use different categories with other languages.
I'm not sure if there are 3rd party extensions that could help with that... Falang maybe?

As far as I good see Falang doesn't support this (yet).
To multiply all the categories for every language make the list become very long and unusable because users don't want to go through everything to see what is the right category.

what is the time plan for making it multilingual.
if you make it multilingual maybe you could also add a 'language' code to a course so that you can choose what courses will be shown in category (all languages, only language x, etc)
and adding a search item to search for courses only in a specific language.

ps I just kept this on not fixed because of the answer on the time plan ...

I agree that implementing multilingual feature will be awesome.
So I created a feature request for our developers.
To be honest I can't say when and if this feature will be available.
It depends from Project Manager... but I hope that such an important feature will be accepted and implemented...
