Hi Support

My client is very please with Jomsocial and would like to use it.
But has asked me to customise to show him how flexible the template is.
Unfortunately I am not able to make the changes I need. I am not able to see any templates in Jomsocial admin.
I have v4.2.3 installed. I am not able to see any templates so I have no place to start with customisation. Is this normal for 4.2.3.
I have attached a screen shot.

Thank you for contacting us and your kind words.
Oh, yes. We put a great effort to make JomSocial flexible.
That's why we deprecated access to template in dashboard as changed made there ware applied in core files.
The best way to create overrides is to copy files to your template html folder.
We follow Joomla! guidelines here.
Please, read this document as it explain how to create overrides so they won't be lost after next upgrade: documentation.jomsocial.com/wiki/Customizing_Template

Also our modules uses Joomla! alternative layout feature: docs.joomla.org/Layout_Overrides_in_Joomla

In addition we implemented in JomSocial PRO Theme Designer that allows you set or change some basic layout settings without fiddling with any file ;)

So yes, it's very flexible ;)
