ISSUE SUMMARY:
Post missing when scrolling down again after updating to 4.2.3

We hade the same problem before.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you

please edit:
/components/com_community/models/activities.php at line 756, find this code

$sortDateBy = ($config->get('sortactivitybylastupdate',0)) ? 'updated_at' : 'created' ;
changing it to
$sortDateBy = ($config->get('sortactivitybylastupdate',0)) ? 'updated_at' : 'id' ;

Scrolling down second or third page jumps to 10 months.

Hi,

please goto jomsocial backend > configuration > site > activity section, set Order by last comment to No
if set to Yes, please pay attention for comments at stream items. because the order will be based on comments date

Thanks, but I think we are talking about different things now.

We love the new function to get the last posts att the top, thanks for that opportunity.

But after the update when scrolling down a lot of post are missing.

1 page is hours
2 page is days
3 page is 10 month
4 page is 10 month
5 page is 10 month
6 page is 10 month

Where is everything between 2 and 3 page?

It´s the same problem we hade before 4.2.3 that you helped us to get fixed.

Well with NO scrolling is working at a quick look.
But I can´t understand why it should´t work using this now wonderful function?

Just did the 4.2.4 update in hope that it would fix everything but no.

Now is worse .....

and set Order by last comment to No

unzip and put it at:
[joomla site root]/components/com_community/models/activities.php

let me know the result :)

I just put it there and now there is activities.php and activities-2.php.

It´s not working still the same problem.

Should I remove activities.php?
