Welcome the Technical Support section. Help us in assisting you by providing us with a concise and descriptive elaboration of your issues. Be specific and if possible, provide us with a step-by-step instruction in replicating your problem.
Greetings Pro's,
I did not know exactly where to submit this question within this forum, so I hope here is okay. I have had a google analytics account for some time now and I am never getting accurate data from it. Last month along I had over 120,000 visitors to my site,
www.madd-talent.com
and according to my Google Analytics, I had one visit. I can only assume that I have placed the analytic code in the wrong place within my site. I was hoping you could tell me where to place this below code so that I am getting accurate data from my site.
Thank you for contacting us... but your request has nothing to to with JomSocial.
Here we support only JomSocial and iJoomla product related requests.
In cases like this one you should post at forum.joomla.org.
There are two options for GA code:
-add directly to template code
-or install Google Analitics plugin - there are a lot of them available in JED ;)
- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.
- Use the "Thank You" feature on any post that helped you
Michal,
You are correct and I do apologize for taking up your valuable time with this, but I needed to ask someone and you JomSocial Pro's seem to know everything. LOL! I will look into what you did share with me though and thank you.
