ISSUE SUMMARY:
I installed the core.php patch per www.jomsocial.com/forum/installation/340...-not-showing-anymore but that did not fix the problem for me, the JomSocial backend is still blank.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Replaced core.php per www.jomsocial.com/forum/installation/340...-not-showing-anymore

RESULT: JomSocial admin screen is still blank.
EXPECTED RESULT: to see JomSocial admin
BROWSER: Chrome 51.0.2704.103 m

FYI, I had to roll back the core.php file, the Joomla admin was not working right.

Hi,

your jomsocial not using latest version. any jomsocial fixes always for jomsocial latest version (4.2.2)
your jomsocial still 3.2.1.5

for the fix I edited:
/components/com_community/libraries/core.php line 635

if (array_key_exists($classname, $classes)) {
    require_once(JPATH_ROOT . '/components/com_community' . $classes[$classname]);
}

changing it to

$app = JFactory::getApplication();
if ($app->isAdmin() && array_key_exists($classname, $classes) && file_exists(JPATH_ROOT . '/administrator/components/com_community' . $classes[$classname])) {
    require_once(JPATH_ROOT . '/administrator/components/com_community' . $classes[$classname]);
}elseif(array_key_exists($classname, $classes) && file_exists(JPATH_ROOT . '/components/com_community' . $classes[$classname])) {
    require_once(JPATH_ROOT . '/components/com_community' . $classes[$classname]);
}

your jomsocial backend running well now ;-)
