Hi, Udi.

Thank you for contacting us.
Please, make sure that you're using latest version of language file that is compatible with JomSocial 4.2.2.

- Instead of saying: 'it's not working', explain the problem in detail.
- Screenshots with the URL visible in them and the problem marked are more than welcome.
- Tell us how to replicate the problem, we can't fix it if we can't find it.
- Make sure that your site/server meets JomSocial System Requirements
- Make sure to setup JomSocial Cron Job
- Always provide us with access details to the backend and ftp. We need it to debug problems.
- If you have a similar problem, but a solution you found isn't working, open a new thread instead of 'merging' with an existing one.

Hi Michal,

Thank you for quick response.

The Hebrew language file works fine after the login.

The problem is at the beginning - the ext chooses the English file.
It has been changed after the last upgrade.

Udi

Hi, Udi.

Please, check your current language file if it has following constants:

COM_COMMUNITY_REGISTER
COM_COMMUNITY_FIRST_NAME
COM_COMMUNITY_LAST_NAME
COM_COMMUNITY_NAME
COM_COMMUNITY_USERNAME
COM_COMMUNITY_EMAIL
COM_COMMUNITY_VERIFY_EMAIL
COM_COMMUNITY_PASSWORD
COM_COMMUNITY_VERIFY_PASSWORD
COM_COMMUNITY_REGISTER_REQUIRED_FIELDS
COM_COMMUNITY_REGISTER_ACCEPT_TNC
COM_COMMUNITY_TERMS_AND_CONDITION
COM_COMMUNITY_I_HAVE_READ
COM_COMMUNITY_NEXT

If they are missing, it means that your language file is outdated.

Hi,

What is the current language file?

Where can I find it?

How to move the translated statesments from old to new?

Why is it?

Hi, Udi.

JomSocial is evolving so with time new language constant may appear.
We provide JomSocial in Englis by default.
All other localizations: www.jomsocial.com/translations are contributed by Community and we can't grant their completeness or correctness.

if you lack some constants the best solution will be to edit your current language file in Hebrew and check English translation for new constants. Usually if something on site is not translated - you lack a certain constant. Just copy them from English and translate directly in Hebrew file.

Hi Michal,

My EN-GB file is 3.6 july 16.

the first 3 Constants you wrote ar not there.

I added all contants via lang. pverride.

It doesn't change the situation for the language file.

How can I get in-use the He-il file.

It seems the ext does not use it att all.

please advise.

Udi

Hi, Udi.

Current version of JomSocial is 4.2.2 so you need to have language file for that JS version.
You mean that language is not applied at all or only on those pages?
Try to add those constants direct to your Hebrew language file for JomSocial.
