ISSUE SUMMARY:
Hi Jomsocial, I just bought the latest version today and am attempting to do an update. Blue bar during upgrade from previous version to new version gets stuck during the update of the theme. It's the same issue I had during the previous update. This time I manually placed some of the new theme files into the corresponding folder on the server - but it didn't resolve it unfortunately.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1 Upload the zipped update into the server
2 updated from URL in admin
3 Gets stuck at the preparing database step

RESULT Site doesn't update
EXPECTED RESULT Old version is all there is
BROWSER Firefox (latest)

Thank you Albertus. Are the theme files up to date? I do have issues with it currently. For example in previous updates I notice things like the image count on profiles were fixed. You can see the image counts are incorrect here:

I also have some java issues I believe where there are times certain java aspects of the site load or do not randomly. For example the status box on the font page will sometimes not appear. Also there is some random text that shows up (written by a user somewhere else on the site) that shows up in an album description (un-editable) here:

Finally some members report that they can't upload images, even small ones under 2mb in size. It just hangs for them, similarly to the update blue bar. I've tried to re-create the problem by uploading many large images at once. I increased the file size limit and length of time it takes to time out and they still aren't able.

Is this theme related or do you think it is some sort of conflict with other modules and plugins?

Thanks for fixing my initial problem, but I don't know if these other issues are related so for now I'm marking the ticket status as not fixed. Just let me know if you want me to create new postings for each, I appreciate your help.

the updating theme only process jomsoical default SCSS file, no with other files.
