ISSUE SUMMARY:

I am looking to migrate my entire Joomla site to a brand new instance and only take with me the latest. I have been having too many issues as lately with compatibility and all of the pay for software companies for Joomla are mainly horrible in support to say the least.

So my attempt to surpass all of this I am going to a brand new Joomla install and get rid of the old stuff. Jomsocial I have been using ever since it was built from the beginning with Azrul but I think there are bunch of issues now from update after update.

The main question that I have are the database relationships or if you have some suggestion for me to move only the data worth keeping such as videos, some posts, users (had a lot of spam), etc.

I move some stuff but ran into the Foreign key issues and it just been a pain to fix.

Do you recommend a tool or some sort of schema that is best to get that data out?

Do you mean migrate to another brand new joomla and jomsocial installation or you wanna use another different system?

If you wanna migrate to different system, that is really tricky and you need hire 3rd party developer to achive this.

If you wanna move to another brand new joomla and jomsocial installation, you just import the database tables and copy the folder images and paste it on your new destination.

My issue right now is the Jomsocial 4.2.2. You helped fix the issue but there were some additional issues that came up. So you mentioned that it is the template which I bought from Joomlart.

I have been using Jomsocial since the very beginning and I bought many other iJoomla products.

So I decided to a brand new install and I bought new template from RocketTheme. I installed everything brand new, new install of Joomla, new install of RocketTheme and extension, new install of every extension and I configured the site first.

Then now I am trying to port over all of the data as you stated I simply migrated all the community tables using the SP Transfer. But now I am getting a Front end error, the backend works fine and I see all of my data but I can't figure out what is causing the front end error. It worked BEFORE I moved my data.
