i read article in Thread database

i saw jomsocial using Table MyIsam Table
i read and resualt :
InnoDB , for big data (database) , very good, because no need to repair Database, for example crash database , and repair database myisam, for 60 Million, need over 3 day , is very very long
while , in innodb no need for repair
myisam just Optimize and good speed
but
innodb is Appropriate for big data (database), for very high recored, and in InnoDb no crash Databse
1-why jomsocial using MyIsam? joomla using Innodb
2- can i change all table jomsocial to MyIsam Engine? no problem after change?
3-jomsocial support big data (database)? for example Database over 2 terabyte, if my server is very Strong

#1 Some of old tables indeed using myIsam, seems that is coming from our old database, on newest table already used innoDB
#2. Yes you can, I think it would be safe :)
#3 Yes is possible, actaully this is really depend with your server configuration, how good you tweak your server actaully, make sure you manage the cache system very well :)

I do not know about Database, please your team jomsocial Check out , that which one is better, for big data , safe and security and Prevent crashes Database.

2. use the latest technology, innoDB is better than MyIsam :)
3. what do you mean with Parallel processing? seems this is server part, right? we dont have special code for this.
